C.J. Barrymore's May 25th - May 28th Memorial Day Weekend Wristband Special Unlimited rides - $28 per person, per session, per day. Choose from 2 sessions - 11am-4pm OR 5pm-10pm. Limited quantities - sells out fast! All rides included. Excludes Arcade/Batting Cages. No advance sales - on site only. Must be present to purchase wristbands. Park may reach capacity. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No drop offs.
Lake St. Clair Metropark Black Creek Marsh guided tours Sunday May 27th at 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM; Join us as we paddle the more secluded areas of Black Creek Marsh in search of birds, reptiles and aquatic mammals. Enjoy a tranquil, 2 hour guided kayaking trip along a 2 3/4 mile paddle trail. Bring your binoculars, camera and sense of adventure. Simple Adventures Guides will help to identify the diverse wildlife along the way.
St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade May 27th at 1 p.m.; Located at Harper Avenue (from Ridgeway St. to 11 Mile Road), St. Clair Shores. The theme for this annual procession is “Never Forget Their Sacrifice.”
Warren’s Greatest Garage Sale May 27th and 28th from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Located at the Warren City Square; Parking Garage on Van Dyke Avenue, north of 12 Mile Road; Cost: $1/admission; fees vary for items; Find previously owned jewelry, furniture, household items, toys and clothing for sale, plus great deals on antiques and other collectables. There will be companies like Scentsy, Tupperware, Avon and others present, too.
Sterling Heights Memorial Day Parade May 28th at 9 a.m.; Located at Dodge Park parking lot to Heritage Junior High School, Sterling Heights; Hundreds gather for this 39th annual, which honors the soldiers that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
